A Prisoner Hanged in North-Eastern Iran

Iran Human Rights, May 22, 2014: One prisoner was hanged in the prison of Mashhad Tuesday 20. May, reported the Iranian daily newspaper Khorasan. The prisoner who was not identified by name, was convicted of murdering his wife in 2007. He was 40 year old, said the report. At least 15 prisoners convicted of murder have been executed in the prison of Mashhad  so far in 2014.
