Four Death Row Prisoners Transferred from their Wards for Execution

Iran Human Rights, May 8, 2014: Four prisoners have been transferred from their prison wards at the Rajaishahr prison of Karaj (west of Tehran) this morning, for implementation of their death sentences. According to reliable sources that Iran Human Rights (IHR) has been in contact with all the prisoners are charged with murder. It is believed that the executions will take place on Saturday. The prisoners are identified as: Khan Mohammad Sedighi from Ward 1, Masoud Darabi, Mehdi Mazlomi and Mehrdad Bagherian, all from the ward 6 of the Rajaishahr prison.
