Today: Six Prisoners Hanged in Iran- One Carried out in Public

charged with possession and trafficking of about 1000 grams of the synthetic drug Crystal. The other prisoner, who according to the report was of Baluchi ethnicity, was identified as "M. K.", charged with possession of narcotic drugs. This prisoner was sentenced to death along with another prisoner identified as "T. P." who was executed on March 19, 2014. The third prisoner who was executed in Qom today was charged with murder and sentenced to "qisas" (retribution). He was identified as "A. D." charged with a murder in 2010, said the report. The official Iranian news agency IRNA also reported about a public execution in Saveh (Markazi province, Central Iran). The prisoner was identified as "S. A.", convicted f murdering a security officer in Saveh. The execution was carried out in the Alavi area of Saveh.   Two prisoners were hanged in the prison of Bandar Abbas according to unofficial reports. According to the "Human Rights Organization of Kurdistan" (HRO) the prisoners were charged with murder. One of the prisoners is identified as "Farzin Payandan". These executions have not been announced by the official sources yet.
