This report depicts the legal status of 68 human rights defenders, two families of activists, an NGO, as well as an anti-death penalty campaign in Iran, and some of their members.

At least 1,639 people were executed, marking the highest number of recorded executions since 1989 and a dramatic 68% increase compared to 2024, when 975 executions were recorded.

According to data collected by IHRNGO, Islamic Republic authorities have executed at least 5,356 people for drug-related charges between January 2010 and 30 November 2025.
