Two men hanged in public in northern Iran- One man hanged in southeastern Iran

Iran Human Rights, June 9: Two men were hanged in public in Neyshabur (northeastern Iran) early this morning.

According to the official Iranian news agency IRNA, two young men identified as Mohammad M. (also known as Meysam) and Mokhtar A. were convicted of kidnapping and raping a woman. They were publicly hanged in Neyshabur.

The report did not mention the age of the men.

Another man was hanged in Kerman on June 8th. According to the official website of the Iranian judiciary in Kerman, a 20-year-old man identified as Majid H. was convicted of rape and hanged in Kerman prison (southeastern Iran).
