• 19 May 2013 A Journalist and a Political Activist were Executed in Tehran’s Evin Prison This Morning Iran Human Rights, May 19: One journalist and one political Activist were hanged in Tehran’s Evin Prison early this morning Sunday May 19.
According to the state run Iranian news agency Fars, Kourosh a political activist and Mohammad Heydari a journalist who had been working in several reformist newspapers were charged with espionage for giving sensitive information to the Israeili and othe foreign intelligence services and sentenced to death.

According to the official website of the Iranian Judiciary in Gilan Province the prisoners were all convicted of possession and trafficking of narcotic drugs. The prisoners were identified as: Jahangir Gorgij, Hashem bahar Ali, Shahram Hassan-Zadeh, Nemat Rajabi, Fahad Shirazi, Mohammad Zareiiand Tooraj Amini, said the report.
