Abbas Namaki, 39 years old, father of two children

Hamid Rabiei, 31 years old

Mohammad Ali Rabiei, 55 years old, father of Hamid)

All the prisoners are allegedly convicted of drug-related charges.

Iran Human Rights (IHR) strongly condemns the scheduled executions, which are to take place one day after the World Day against the Death Penalty. Mahmood Amiry-Moghaddam, the spokesperson for IHR, urged the international community to react. He said: "We ask the UN and all countries with diplomatic ties with Iran to do use all their channels to stop these executions".

Earlier today, IHR together with four other NGOs published an open letter to the UN and authorities of several countries that have been cooperating with Iran to fight drug trafficking to halt all aid to Iran, until the Iranian authorities have abolished the death penalty for drug-related crimes.
