Iran Human Rights, January 9: Ten days after execution of the political prisoners Ali Saremi and Ali Akbar Siadat, several other political prisoners among them Jafar Kazemi and Hossein Aghaei could be at imminent danger of execution.

According to a statement issued by "human rights and democracy activists in Iran", the political prisoners Jafar Kazemi and Mohammad Ali Aghaei, might be scheduled to execution already on Tuesday January 12.

Jafar Kazemi, a former political prisoner in the 1980s, was arrested under one of the postelection protests in September 2009 in Tehran.

He was later sentenced to death charged with "Moharebeh" (war against the God) through connection with the "People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran" (PMOI). Mr. Kazemi’s attorney has previously denied te charges and said that her client has just taken part in a protest demonstration.

Also Mr. Hossein Aghaei is among the those who was sentenced to death in connection to postelection protests, charged with Moahrebeh and connection to PMOI.

Ali Saremi, who was executed on December 28. 2010, was sentenced to death and later executed on the same charges of Moharebeh and connection with PMOI.

Iran Human Rights urges the international community to do whatever they can in order to stop the executions in Iran.
