Iran Human Rights (APR 25 2016): At least eight prisoners at Karaj's Rajai Shahr Prison and three prisoners at Zahedan's Central Prison were reportedly transferred to solitary confinement in preparation for their executions.
According to close sources, the transfers occurred on the morning of Sunday April 24.
Close sources say the prisoners from Rajai Shahr, who are reportedly on death row on murder charges, are scheduled to be executed in the coming days.
According to the Campaign of Baluch Activists, the prisoners from Zahedan are on death row on drug charges. These prisoners have been unofficially identified as: Mohammad Sanjarani, Sadegh Reigi, and Jamshid Dehvari.
