Iran Human Rights (APR 20 2017): A prisoner was reportedly executed at Borujerd Prison (Lorestan province, western Iran) on murder charges.
According to a report by the HRANA news agency, the execution was carried out on Thursday April 20. The report identifies the prisoner as Mahmoud Torabi, held in prison for eight years before his execution.
Iranian official sources, including the media and Judiciary, have not announced this execution.
