Iran: Man Hanged at Zahedan Prison

A prisoner was reportedly hanged at Zahedan Central Prison on unknown charges. 

Iran Human Rights (JULY 13 2017): On Wednesday July 12, a prisoner was reportedly hanged at Zahedan Central Prison on unknown charges. The Baluch Activists Campaign has identified the prisoner as Mohammad Shahnavazi. 

Iranian official sources, including the Judiciary and the state-run media, have not announced this execution. 

In the past two weeks, Iran Human Rights has reported on 57 executions in various Iranian prisons. Most of these prisoners were hanged on drug related charges.
