On the one-year anniversary of the group execution of 25 Sunni prisoners in Rajai Shahr Prison, three Sunni prisoners in the same prison were transferred to solitary confinement in preparation for their executions.

Iran Human Rights (AUG 3 2017): On the morning of Wednesday August 2, three prisoners in Karaj's Rajai Shahr Prison were reportedly transferred to solitary confinement in preparation for their executions. Close sources say the prisoners are Sunni and were sentenced to death on the charge of Moharebeh (enmity against God) through membership in Salafi groups.

The transfers occurred on the same day as the one year anniversary of the group execution of 25 Sunni prisoners in Rajai Shahr Prison.
