Iran Human Rights (Jul 8, 2018): An Afghan prisoner was hanged at Zahedan Central Prison on murder charges.
According to HRANA news agency, on the morning of Saturday, July 7, a prisoner was hanged at Zahedan Central Prison on murder charges.
The Afghan prisoner was identified as Naeem Manduzehi, born in 1970 and married with 9 children.
The execution of this prisoner has not been announced by the state-run media so far.
According to Iran Human Rights annual report on the death penalty, 240 of the 517 execution sentences in 2017 were implemented due to murder charges.
