Two women, Rahele Zamani and Zahra Nazemian, are scheduled to be executed in Tehran’s Evin prison tomorrow Wednesday December 19

Iran Human Rights, December 18: According to reliable sources two women are scheduled to be executed at the Evin prison tomorrow morning.

One of them is the 27 years Rahele Zamani, who is convicted of murdering her husband 2 years ago. She is mother of two children (a three years old boy and five years old girl). The Iranian daily newspaper Etemad, published parts of a letter written by Rahele Zamani, where she begs her husband’s for forgiveness. She is scheduled to be executed tomorrow. According to our sources, another woman identified as Zahra Nazemian, is going to be executed along with Rahele Zamani tomorrow in the Evin prison tomorrow Wednesday December 19.

More people could be executed in the Evin prison tomorrow since the last Wednesday of each month (the Iranian calender) is the "executions day" in Tehran’s Evin prison.
