Three men were hanged in public in southeastern Iran this morning

Iran Human Rights, June 20: Three people were hanged in public, in the southeastern town of Zabol, early this morning.

The Iranian news agency Aftab reported that three men identified as Baboddin Barkazaei, Mohammad Poudineh and Vali Allah Mir were Publicly hanged in Zabol.

According to the report, the men were convicted of rape and armed robbery.

The number of public hangings has dramatically increased in the past months in Iran.
