Maryam Hodavand

Maryam Hodavand is a mother of two and around 40-45 years old. It is not clear when she was arrested. According to the Kurdistan Human Rights Network, she is one of the defendants accused of attacking Seyed al-Shohada Mosque in Pakdasht on 8 January, which led to the death of two people. The trial of the three teenage protesters in the case was aired by state media on 14 February.

Maryam is held in Evin Prison, Tehran.

Status: Sentenced to death by Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Iman Afshari.
