Two women sentenced to death for adultry- The sentence has now been approved

Iran Human rights, January 31: According to the Iranian daily Quds today, two women are sentenced to death for adultry by a court in Tehran. The sentence has now been approved by the Supreme court and sent to the section of implementation of the verdict (Ejraye Ahkam), says the report. These women who are sisters, have allegedly been involved in running a prostitution house in the city of Karaj. At least one of them is married according to the report. None of them were identified by name.

They are cinvicted for adultry (Zenaaye Mohsene), which according to the Iranian law, is sentenced to death by stoning.
