Seven Prisoners Were Executed in Iran Today

Iran Human Rights, December 11: Seven prisoners were hanged in the Rajai Shahr Prison of Karaj (west of Tehran) today.
According to reliable sources that Iran Human Rights (IHR) has been in contact with 10 prisoners were transferred from their prison wards for implementation of their death sentences yesterday. At least seven of these prisoners were hanged early this morning.
Iranian official media have not announced the news of these executions yet. According to IHR’s "annual report on the death penalty in Iran-2012"about 49% of the 580 executions confirmed by the IHR were carried out secretly or were not announced by the official sources.
Details about their identity and charges will follow later.
