Correction on Kerman Executions: 8 People Executed on 25. January

Iran Human Rights, January 27, 2015: On Sunday 25. January Iran Human Rights (IHR) reported on execution of 10 prisoners convicted of drug-related charges in the prison of Kerman (Southeastern Iran). IHR has now received additional information showing that 8 of the ten prisoners were executed on Sunday, while executions of two of the prisoners identified as Mehdi Raeisi and Mansour Behrouzi were stopped and the prisoners were returned to their prison wards.
Three of the prisoners who were executed on Sunday were from the "New ward" of the prison and the five others were from Ward 8 and "Andarzgah" part of the prison.
IHR is conducting further investigations on the executions of Kerman.

ولید حسنی، ۳۳ ساله، صبح یکشنبه ۲۶ مهر ۱۴۰۵ با اتهامات مربوط به «مواد مخدر» در زندان مرکزی شیراز (عادل‌آباد) اعدام شد.
ولید حسنی اهل مسجدسلیمان بود و حدود دو سال پیش با اتهامات مربوط به مواد مخدر بازداشت و به اعدام محکوم شده بود.

نوید مهدی‌پور، ۲۷ ساله، صبح چهارشنبه ۲۹ مهر ۱۴۰۵ در زندان مرکزی شیراز (عادل‌آباد) اعدام شد.
او حدود سه سال پیش به اتهام قتل دوست خود با سلاح گرم و با انگیزه «ناموسی» بازداشت و به قصاص نفس محکوم شده بود. نوید دوران محکومیت خود را در بند ۴ زندان عادل‌آباد سپری می‌کرد.

شهرام بابان‌زاده، ۳۰ ساله و اهل بجنورد، صبح یکشنبه ۲۶ مهر ۱۴۰۵ با اتهامات مربوط به «مواد مخدر» در زندان مرکزی شیراز (عادل‌آباد) اعدام شد.
شهرام پیش از بازداشت مکانیک خودرو بود و با مادر و خواهرش زندگی می‌کرد. مادر او به بیماری سختی مبتلا بود و هزینه شیمی‌درمانی‌اش ماهانه به ۵۲ https://t.co/BOIwrxIEhB
