A 70 years old dog owner is sentenced to 4 months of prison and 30 lashes

Iran Human Rights, February 18: A 70 years old man has been sentenced to 30 lashes and 4 months of imprisonment, reported the government daily newspaper Iran. He is convicted of creating disturbance for the public, because he used to take his dogs to a park, and there have been some complaints about the dogs creating fear among women and children, and some time ago his dog bit a child.
