Today’s women executions at Tehran’s Evin prison have been postponed

Iran Human Rights, March 5: According to the sources in Iran, the scheduled executions of at least three women today, have been postponed. According to our sources, the execution of at least one of the women has been postponed in one month.

It is believed that the national and international focus on thie issue was instrumental in the decision by the Iranian authorities.

However, it is important to underline that the executions have just been postponed and these women remain at imminent danger of execution, as long as their death sentences have not been canceled.
