Iran Human Rights, April 17: A man is scheduled to be executed in the prison of Qom this morning, reported the government newspaper Iran. He is identified as "Mahmood" (46) and is convicted of keeping and selling drugs. He was sentenced by the general and revolutionary court in Qom to 40 lashes charged for re-addiction, 74 lashes for keeping drugs, 12 years of prison, 290 million rials (about 29000 USD) fine, confiscation of all his belongings and death according to the report. His death sentence is believed to be carried out in the prison of Qom this morning.
