A woman is sentenced to death by stoning

 Twelve prisoners have been executed in different Iranian prisons in the past few days, reported the Iranian state media. Five prisoners were hanged in the prison of Qom (south of Tehran) today, reported the state run Iranian news agency Fars. The prisoners who were not identified by name were convicted of drug-related charges. One of the prisoners was convicted of possession of 354 kilograms of heroin.
