Iran Human Rights, May 7: Four men were hanged in Tehran’s Evin prison early this morning, reported the state run news agency ISCAnews. They were identified as Mehdi M., Majid F., Hassan K. and Iraj, and were all convicted of murder according to the report.

Age of none of those executed today was mentioned in the report.

Another person who was scheduled to be executed at the Evin prison early this morning, was the "minor" offender Behnood Shojaee whose death sentence was postponed by the head of the Iranian judiciary yesterday.

It is believed the national and international focus on Behnood as a minor offender was the reason why his execution was postponed.
