Hossein Gharabaghloo, a child offender, has been executed

Iran Human Rights, October 22: According to reliable sources, one of those executed on Wednesday October 17 in Tehran, was Hossein Gharabaghloo. In the news broadcasted by the state-run ISNA news agency he was just identified as "Hossein" and his age was not mentioned.

It is now confirmed that Hossein Gharabaghloo was among those executed on Wednesday. Hossein Gharabaghloo was 16 when he reportedly stabbed another young man with the name Mahmoud to death during a fight on 1 December 2004 at a place near Tehran. He was sentenced to death in 2006.
