THE MINOR OFFENDER BEHNAM ZARE WAS EXECUTED TODAY

Iran Human Rights, August 26: According to the reports from Iran, the minor offender, Behnam Zare, was hanged in the prison of Shiraz today! Behnam was convicted of a murder allegedly committed when he was 15 years old! Neither his lawyer Mohammad Mostafaei nor his family were informed that the execution was about to happen today, wrote Mr. Mostafaei in his blog. Iran Human Rights will follow with further details later. Last Tuesday, another minor offender, Reza Hejazi was hanged in the prison of Isfahan for an offence committed when he was 15 years old.
