Two Prisoners Hanged In Western Iran

Iran Human Rights (NOV 8, 2016): Two prisoners were hanged in Qorveh Prison (Iranian Kurdistan province) early Tuesday morning on November 8.

Iran Human Rights had reported yesterday on the scheduled execution of these prisoners.

The prisoners were identified as Mohammad Rasoul Heydari, from Qorveh, charged with murder, and Babak Hassanzadeh, from Sardasht, charged with possession and trafficking 350 grams of the narcotic drug crystal meth.

According to close sources, Heydari was arrested four years and 8 months ago and Hassanzadeh four years ago. Both prisoners were detained in Hamadan Prison and were transferred to Qorveh 20 days ago.

The executions have not been reported by official Iranian sources, including the media and the Judiciary.
