Iranian authorities confirm stoning of three men in Mashad two weeks ago

Iran Human Rights, January 14: The spokesman of the Iranian judiciary confirmed in a press conference the stoning sentences that took place in Mashad on December 26., reported Etemaad-e-Melli newspaper today.

Spokesperson of the Iranian judiciary Mr. Jamshidi said in answer to the question from a journalist: " the stoning punishments of three men convicted of adultry, were carried out, but one of them managed to pull himself out of the grave and his stoning sentence was not completed"

The news was reportedby Iran Human Rights few days after the stonings were taken place in Mashad.
