Iran: Man Hanged at Sanandaj Prison

Iran Human Rights (IHR); April 23, 2020: A prisoner was hanged for murder charges at Sanandaj prison, Kurdistan province, this morning.
According to IHR sources, on the early morning of Thursday, April 23, death-row prisoner Sina Mohammadi hanged at Sanandaj prison.
Executions in Iran have continued to be carried out even after the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in the country.
According to IHR’s Annual Report on the Death Penalty in Iran, at least 280 people were executed in Iran in 2019.

بهگفته یک منبع مطلع، حسنلو حدود ۱۸ ماه پیش بازداشت و در دادگاه انقلاب به اعدام محکوم شده بود. تا زمان انتشار خبر، رسانههای داخلی یا منابع رسمی اعدام او را اعلام نکرده بودند.

هادی حسنلو، ۳۶ ساله، اهل مراغه و پدر یک فرزند، صبح ۲۹ شهریور ۱۴۰۵ در زندان عادلآباد شیراز اعدام شد. او با اتهامات مرتبط با مواد مخدر به اعدام محکوم شده بود.
