3 Baluch Men Secretly Executed for Drug Charges in Zahedan

Iran Human Rights (IHRNGO); November 15, 2022: Emam Bakhsh Narouyi, Mohsen Anshini and Vali Roudini, three Baluch men sentenced to death for drug-related charges, were executed in Zahedan Central Prison.

According to Hal Vash, three Baluch men were executed Zahedan Central Prison on November 13. Their identities have been reported as Emam Bakhsh Narouyi, Mohsen Anshini and Vali Roudini who were sentenced to death for drug-related charges by the Revolutionary Court.

The report states that they were executed without prior notification and the right to a last visit with their families.

At the time of writing, none of their executions have been reported by domestic media or officials in Iran.

At least 251 including 6 women and 67 Baluch minorities were executed in the first six months of 2022. This is double the number of executions in the same period in 2021 when 117 people were executed.
