One person was hanged in public and three were hanged in prison on SUnday July 18 in Iran

Iran Human Rights, July 19: One person was hanged in public in the city of Ahvaz yesterday morning July 18, reported the state run news agency ISCA news. The man was identified as "A. Sh." and was convicted of smugling 496 grams of heroin.

According to the same news agency, three other men identified as "Abbs Y.", "Rohollah B." and "Mohammad Naeem Sh." were hanged in the prison of Kerman (southeast of Iran) yesterday Sunday July 18. All the men were convicted of drug trafficking according to the report.

The charges ahve not been confirmed by indedependent sources.
