URGENT:Rahele Zamani is among those scheduled for execution tomorrow morning

Iran Human Rights, January 1: According to our sources, more than 10 people are scheduled to be executed at Tehran’s Evin prison early tomorrow morning, January 2. It is believed that Rahele Zamani, the 27 years old mother of two children (3 years old boy and 5 years old girl) is among those to be executed tomorrow. Rahele Zamani was originally supposed to be executed on December 19, but her execution was postponed for two weeks. The original reports from the official media mentioned that her husbands parents had demanded "dieyh" (blood money) in order to agree to her "forgiveness". But according to our sources, there was no discussion of any blood money, and her execution was just postponed due to the focus Rahele managed to attarct to her case by writing an open letter which was published in some newspapers.
