Three men were hanged in public in the city of Qom, and two others hanged in Zahedan this morning, January 2

Iran Human Rights, January 2: Three men were hanged in public in the city of Qom, south of Tehran, this morning, reported the official Iranian news agency IRNA. The public execution of these men was announced yesterday in the Iranian media.

These men were identified as "Safar Ali Nazari Ashkar" (36), "Sohbatollah Malaki" (39) and "Habib Oliaee", and were accused of drug trafficking, according to the report.

Two men were hanged in the prison in the southeastern city of Zahedan reported Iranian state media. The news was also broadcasted by AFP.

 8 men and women were hanged in Tehran’s Evin prison early this morning.
