URGENT: Two men are at imminent risk of death by being thrown off a cliff

Iran Human Rights, January 6: Two young men could soon be facing death by "being thrown off a cliff" according to the Iranian daily newspaper Quds. They are identified as Tayeb and Yazdan and are convicted of raping two other men, according to the report. Four other men who were arrested in relation to the same case are sentenced to 100 lashes each. The sentenced was issued in a court at the city of Shiraz in May 2007. The case was sent to the Supreme Court, which has now approved the sentence and sent it further to the section for "enforcement of the judgement" (Ejraye Ahkam), according to the Quds daily newspaper.
