Four prisoners executed in Iran- One hanged publicly

Iran Human Rights, July 2: Four prisoners were executed in two different Iranian towns according to the state run Iranian news agencies.

One man hanged publicly in Ahar (northwestern Iran):

According to the state run Iranian news agency ISNA, one man was hanged publicly in the town of Ahar, northwestern Iran. The man who was not identified by name, was convicted of murdering a nine year old boy said the report. The execution took place publicly in front of several thousand people on Thursday June 28.

Three prisoners were hanged in Semnan (northern Iran) today:

The state run Iranian news agency Fars reported that three prisoners were hanged in the prison of Semnan today July 2.
