Iran Human Rights, January 25: According to reports from Iran two prisoners have been executed in the prisons of Tabriz and Meshginshahr in the past week. Meshginshahr: According to the local news website of Aranmoghan, one man was hanged in the prison of Meshginshahr (Ardebil Province) on Friday January 17. The prisoner who was identified as "R.A.", was convicted of murdering a girl identified as "M.Z.", said the report. The man was a worker who because of poverty had previously sold one of his kidneys.  He was married and had one daughter, according to the report. Tabriz: According to reports from unofficial sources a young man identified as "Sajjad Pour-Najaf" (picture) was hanged in the prison of Tabriz on Monday January 21.

 According to these reports Sajjad was born in February 1986 and had been imprisoned since 2008, charged with a murder that he allegedly had committed under self defense. since 2008.
