Prisoner Hanged in Central Iran

Iran Human Rights (June 16 2016): An unidentified prisoner was reportedly hanged at Yasouj Central Prison (in the Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, central Iran) on murder charges.
According to Iranian state-run media, ISNA, the prisoner was hanged to death on the morning of Wednesday June 15. Although the report does not mention the prisoner by name, it describes the prisoner as a young male.The execution was confirmed to ISNA by Mehrdad Karami, the public prosecutor in Yasouj.
