Five prisoners, including a woman, may be executed at any moment in Urmia's central prison.

Iran Human Rights (JULY 25 2017): Five prisoners, including a woman, were reportedly transferred to solitary confinement in Urmia's central prison in preparation their executions.

According to close sources, the transfers occurred on the morning of Tuesday July 25. Close sources have identified the prisoners as Fattah Amini and Khaled Amini, both sentenced to death on murder charges, and Farhad Mousizadeh and Davud Maledar, both sentenced to death on drug related charges. The identity of the woman prisoner is not known at this time. She was reportedly transferred from the prison's women's ward to solitary confinement.
